Frequently asked

What's an AI token?

Tokens measure the text an AI request reads and writes. Minting a deck from a description, repairing your MintSlide MD source, and editing a slide with the copilot all spend tokens — bigger inputs and longer outputs cost more. A typical deck runs ~20K tokens. Stock photo search is free.

When do my tokens reset?

Free: your grant refills to 75K at the start of each month, and unused tokens don't roll over. Pro: 300K tokens reset on your monthly billing date, plus any $5 top-up packs (+50K tokens) you've bought — those roll over and never expire.

What happens when I run out?

AI features pause. On Free you can wait for next month's refill or upgrade to Pro; on Pro you can buy a top-up pack to keep going immediately. Your decks stay intact either way.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from the Billing page. You keep Pro features through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Do you store my deck content?

Decks live in your account so you can come back to them across devices. We don't train models on your content, and we don't share it with third parties beyond the AI provider used to generate the response.

How is MintSlide different from a traditional slide editor?

Traditional editors are blank canvases — you start with a layout and lay everything out by hand. MintSlide starts with an idea: you describe what you want and an AI does the structuring, layout, and copywriting for a first draft. Then you refine by chatting with the copilot. You can always export to PDF.
